Dr. Sydney LaCoursiere grew up in South Dakota and always knew she wanted to become a veterinarian.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science before graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2026. Dr. LaCoursiere especially enjoys internal medicine, urgent care, and ophthalmology. One of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine is building lasting relationships with pets and the people who love them.
When she's not at the clinic, you'll likely find Dr. LaCoursiere playing pickleball, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying the outdoors. She's excited to be part of the Rice Pet Clinic team and looks forward to getting to know you and caring for your pets for years to come.
