Jenn has been with us since December of 2014. Her passion has always been to work with animals and has been in the veterinary field since 2005. She became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2010. Wanting to further her education, she went back to school to achieve her Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Technology and graduated from Minnesota School of Business in 2011. There is an overall enjoyment in all aspects of her job but, especially helping sick animals recover and educating owners about their pets. Jenn and her husband, Mike have a son named Alexander and now a new baby girl Annika born in October 2020. Her family enjoys all aspects of the outdoors and go backpacking/camping any chance they get especially with their canine companions.
Mai Ka joined Rice Pet Clinic team in April 2018. Mai Ka is currently in school to become a veterinary technician. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine. Mai Ka and her husband have 4 little dogs of their own. She enjoys going out to cultural events and trying new cuisines.
Talisha joined the Rice Pet Clinic team in 2020, after moving back home (MN) from living in Texas the past year. She has obtained her Associates of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2013 from Globe University. Her family has always had pets and express a profound love for animals. There are many things that Talisha enjoys about being a veterinary technician, so it was hard to pick just a couple. First of all she loves building a trusting relationship with the pets and clients. Secondly, she enjoys all the hands-on tasks involved with veterinary medicine, such as blood draws and assisting in surgery. Outside of work she enjoys playing with her rescue cat Hazel, spending quality time with family, playing softball and sand volleyball. Lastly she loves going to church and being involved with church activities.
Ashlee joined the Rice Pet Clinic team in 2019. Ashlee enjoys the unpredictability within veterinary medicine and watching patients improve. Outside of work she enjoys spending time the her dog Oliver and cat Sheba.
Cassandra joined the Rice Pet Clinic team in 2019. She is currently a senior at the University of Minnesota studying Animal Science. Cassandra has always enjoyed learning new things and being around inspiring people with the same passion as hers. Outside of work she enjoys spending time outside, running or backpacking, and always loves a good cup of coffee!
Paige joined the Rice Pet Clinic team in 2020. She graduated form Oklahoma State University in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, with honors and an emphasis on Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She is eagerly awaiting to get accepted into a Veterinary Program! Until this happens, she is continually increasing her experiences and knowledge with the work she has accomplished at RPC. Paige personally enjoys the patient and client relationships she has developed while working and has a never-ending passion for educating clients in the health of their pets. She looks forward to the variability within veterinary medicine as no two days are the same. Outside of work she has a passion for showing American Quarter Horses and has been doing so since she was nine years old. Paige enjoys spending time with her fur-babies Max (Yokie/Bichon x), Bitsy (Schnauzer/Poodle x), Mila (feline) and spending quality time with her family. Other loves include going on walks, going to the gym and drinking coffee.
Trina started at Rice Pet Clinic in August of 2020. She has had a passion for animals since she was a kid. Trina had graduated with an Animal Science degree at Century College in 2013 and has worked with a variety of animals (such as dogs, mini goats, chinchillas, ferrets, hamsters and turtles). When Trina worked at a dog hotel she got great experience with dealing with animal behavior and initial aspects of animal welfare. Which made her very interested in looking to pursue a career in the veterinary field. At this time, she has been looking into her options to go back to school for a degree for veterinary technology and is highly interested in making an advancement to working in a zoo setting. Her favorite things and activities are drinking coffee, listening to music, writing, and makeup stylist. She especially enjoys taking her Rotweiler (Attila) and Chihuahua (Mimi) out for walks. Excited to introduce a new member into her family, Scrumptious her hamster.
Cassie had joined the Rice Pet Clinic team in October 2020. Previously she worked as a cosmetologist but recently has decided that a career change was in order after having the pleasure of working with some exotic species and doing educational speeches. Cassie has had the pleasure of leading snorkel excursions with sharks and stingrays. These experiences are what sparked her interest in veterinary medicine. Animals have always been a passion that is near and dear to her heart. Outside of work she loves spending time with her dog Riker and
